Wyckoff Avenue House - Wyckoff, NJ

Still going.  The installation at the museum is finished.  This will be the permanent home for these paintings and prints.  Museum is open to the public today from 1PM to 5PM.  330 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.  I will be doing a painting of the exterior of the museum as a gift to the director soon and that will be hung under the tv to complete the room.  We will be having a grand opening celebration at the museum sometime in late September.  More info to follow.

Ramapo Road House - Teaneck, NJ

Completed painting.

Oil on linen.

8" x 12"

The director of the Paramus museum took 8 more paintings and 3 more prints, in addition to the 7 originals and 10 prints he bought initially.  He tells me that everything should be ready by this weekend.  He is going to build an addition to the museum as well, for me to give presentations and classes.  I'm costing this man a tremendous amount of money, but he tells me that it is well worth every penny.  Such an amazing man to work with.

I can't thank you enough for this, Fred.  Absolutely incredible experience for me.

I will post some pictures of the finished space whenever I finish my next painting and post to this blog.

Wyckoff Avenue House - Wyckoff, NJ

First stage of underpainting complete on both paintings.  Second painting is on Ramapo Road in Teaneck, NJ.

I have been nominated for the Bergen County Legends Award in honor of BC's 350th anniversary.  It would be great to be accepted as a Bergen County living legend.  I believe I am the only artist to ever focus on BC as subject matter for so many paintings, so we shall see how this plays out.
