Ravine Avenue House (rear view) - Wyckoff, NJ

2nd stage of underpainting complete.

I usually don't post multiple images of my paintings in progress, but I have to share something with whomever reads this blog.  There is a fascinating test online which shows color blindness levels.  I took this test yesterday with all the warm and cool lights in my studio blaring on my computer screen and got a 19.  Today I just re-took it in the dark and scored a 4.  The best result for people my age and gender is a 0, with the worst being a 1520.  I guess I see color pretty well.  Try it for yourself and see how you fare.

Ravine Avenue House (rear view) - Wyckoff, NJ

First stage of underpainting complete.  The owners of this beautiful home have devoted an entire wall to the paintings I have done and will do for them.  I will take some pictures down the road of what that looks like after the paintings are done.

The Kohr's shop in Seaside Heights, NJ that I painted a few years back has burned down, as well as 3 of their other locations.  It is very hard to comprehend what the people of this community have been dealing with and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.

Lastly, some neon signs and other pictures from our recent trip to LA.
