Crestview Place House (2,3 & 4) - Bogota, NJ

Completed paintings.

Oil on panels.

5" x 7"

I know these paintings will have deep meaning for the children of the woman who commissioned me and that is a very special thought for me to have, but I hope I never have to do the same painting multiple times ever again.  This was work instead of the usual fun I have painting.  So glad they are done.

Callahan's is back in business, and I will be doing a painting of the truck for the owner sometime soon.

Prints have been hung at the Paramus museum.  I am quite pleased with how everything is coming together so far.

Crestview Place House (2,3 & 4) - Bogota, NJ

First stage of underpainting complete.  Paintings and prints are being installed in the museum in Paramus.  The director took a few more originals in addition to the original 7.  The cabinets have to be removed and track lighting installed in the space, then we will be good to go.  It is very nice to know that these paintings and prints will have a permanent home here for the public to see and enjoy.

Miedama Place House - Midland Park, NJ

First stage of underpainting complete.  The other photo is of my painting of the harbor in Honfleur, France hanging inside this same collector's home.

I saw the initial mock-up of how my paintings and prints will be hung in the museum, and I am beyond thrilled.  After the electrical work, construction of the renovated space and final wall color is painted, I shall take many pictures.  Hopefully that should be in a month or two.

The "Art of Healing" show at Englewood Hospital opens this Thursday, and I will take some pictures of my paintings hanging there as well.

Finally, I have to get up to Maine this Summer to see a major exhibition at the Portland Museum of Art.  The artist is Richard Estes, and he is my hero in the genre of photorealistic painting.  I have heard from some artist friends who have seen it that it is stunning and a must see.  Really looking forward to it.

East Woodland Road House (c.1962) - New Milford, NJ

Completed painting.
Oil on linen
12" x 16"

Next picture is a possible painting if I ever get back to doing one for myself and not a commissioned piece.  Let's Go Rangers!
Next photo is an assembly line of paintings of the Bogota home.
Lastly, a painting I did years back of the VanderPlaat historic house which is in real danger of being demolished.  What I find ironic about this is that the builder is from Wyckoff, and has been doing this sort of thing for years with no regard for Bergen County history.
