Ed's Trucks #2 - Wilsonville, OR

Completed painting.

oil on linen

10" x 16"

I received word from the owner of these trucks exactly one week ago today, that he needed this painting done for a presentation to one of his executives who is retiring after 30 years in Las Vegas this coming Sunday.  I can't believe I was able to pull this off so quickly.  Thanks Ed for making this the most profitable week I have ever had painting.  Looks like 2014 is starting off nicely.

Palace Diner - Biddeford, Maine

First stage of underpainting complete.  I have a small window of time to complete this painting of the oldest diner in Maine before I start on another home portrait, which will be the largest painting I have ever done and will take me the rest of the Winter to finish.

Next picture is of a couple of new toys to start the New Year.

Last pictures are of Mark and Jamie playing against one another for Indian Hills HS and Ramapo HS on New Years Day.  Mark is #16 in blue, Jamie is #40 in white.  They have never played against one another in the 13 years we have been involved in hockey, and may never play head to head like this again.  Mark's team won, and Jamie had a very nice goal.  It was a special moment for the boys and for me as well.  Nice brotherly "handshake/punch" in the handshake line at the end.
