One week in. I think this one will take another 4 or 5 weeks to complete. It's an extremely challenging piece, but it's shaping up to be one of the best that I've done in quite some time.

I plan on doing a series of Bergen County weathervane paintings, and this looks like a good one to start off with.

Back to the drawing board..................

Rutt's Hut and Tenafly Train Station

Completed painting. This will be sent to Kerygma gallery for either the summer show or for next season's new works show.
The Tenafly painting will also be shown at the gallery.

I will be blogging the new paintings as they progress in stages as opposed to waiting until each one is completed. I thought it might be somewhat interesting to see them as they are being painted. Also, I don't think that I will be offering up many small ones on ebay, since it is difficult to get the same prices that the gallery can command for them. So for the time being this blog will be more of an "in progress" vehicle for me, rather than a commerce blog.
