Artkraft Strauss - NYC, NY

I did a painting of the Artkraft Strauss building a few months back, and now noticed while riding my bicycle in the city this past Saturday that the building is being demolished. The part of the facade which I painted is now totally gone. I am in the process of doing 2 more views of the facade to complete the triptych. This canvas is a view of the far right side, with the center piece soon to come. It amazes me to see how fast some of my subjects get torn down. At least the paintings will survive...
